- The Identity of the Tābiʻīn and the Establishment of Islamic Sciences –
The "Tābiʻīn," the second most influential generation of the Islamic society after the Companions, in addition to their important role in the formation of Islamic culture and civilization, their primary influence had been seen in the establishment of Islamic sciences. In this period, which coincided with a time when the Umayyads were in power politically, Islamic culture and civilization began to develop and shine; Islamic land extended on the one hand to the east with the conquest of Transoxiana; on the other hand, the conquests extended to Andalusia in the west. As a result of being taught by the companions who scattered throughout the vast Islamic geography, the generation of Tābiʻīn not only took on the duties of the teaching of the companions and laid the foundations of Islamic sciences and determined the first scientific methods by transferring the knowledge they received.
Due to the founding generation of Islamic sciences and their decisive influence in every field of these sciences, it was deemed necessary to organize comprehensive scientific meetings that dealt with all aspects of the Tābiʻīn generation. For this purpose, it is planned to organize a symposium series titled "The Founding Generation of Islamic Sciences Tābiʻīn " in cooperation with Sakarya University Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences Research Foundation (İSAV). As an introductory to the symposium series, which also helps to determine the conceptual framework of the subject for the future, to hold the first of these scientific meetings with the subtitle "Identity of Tābiʻīn and the Establishment of Islamic Sciences" is found to be the most appropriate. It aims to cover subjects like the effects of the Tābiʻīn generation on the sciences of narration and discernment and other issues in future meetings.
In order to create a general framework and not interfere with the next symposium topics, the following topics are proposed by the symposium organizing committee as frame topics:

SYMPOSIUM PARTICIPATION PRINCIPLES
Symposium languages are Turkish, Arabic and English.
Papers must be original.
Abstracts should be prepared with at least 300 words and should be sent to tabiinsempozyumu@gmail.com along with the participation form and a CV.
The main text of the papers should not exceed 8000 words.
The referees will evaluate the texts of the papers
Paper presentation in sessions will be limited to 20 minutes.
Travel and accommodation expenses of the participants will be covered.
Papers presented at the symposium will be published in the symposium book.
