Our Dean, Prof. Ahmet Bostancı, Visited Morocco

Our Dean, Prof. Ahmet Bostanci, went to the Faculty of Sharia at Sidi Mohamad Ben Abdellah University in Morocco, within the scope of Erasmus+ KA107 Teaching Mobility. He met with Dean Abdulmalik Avish. During the meeting, academic cooperation opportunities between the two faculties were discussed. The dean, Ahmet Bostanci, gave some lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate courses during his days at the Faculty of Sharia.

As Sakarya University Mevlana Institutional Coordinator, Prof. Ahmet Bostancı met the Rector of Sidi Mohamad ben Abdellah University. He visited Radouane Mrabet in his office. During the visit, which various university officials attended, the Mevlana Protocol, which was signed five years ago and expired, was re-signed between the two universities.

Prof. Bostancı also visited Qarawiyyin University, the oldest university in the world and was built by Fatima el-Fihriyye in 859 in the city of Fez. He met the rector, Prof. Amal Jalal. With his visit to Ahmad al-Khamishli, the director of Dar al'hadis al-hasanniye institute of Qarawiyyin University, the Mevlana Protocol was signed by both parties.
