Our Faculty's Arabic Student Society (Multaka Lugāt al-dat) has organized an international panel on "Why and How Do We Learn Arabic?" on the occasion of World Arabic Day, on 17 December 2020. Dr. Sukru Sirin moderated the program and such participants from different locations as Dr. Raid Abdul-Rahim from an-Najah National University (Palestine), Dr. Khaled Abu Amsha from Qasid Arabic Institute (Jordan), and Khalid Banu Umar from Ewan Institute (Jordan) contributed to the panel. Research assistant Zehra Ozbek made the introductory section, and teaching assistant Sumeyye Atici translated their speeches into Turkish during the program.
